New Producer Class – January 24

The date of our next Producer Class will be Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 6:00 PM. Classes are two and a half hours a week for eight weeks. That’s 20 hours of learning everything – soup to nuts – about producing a program on AOTV. Call the office at 978-249-4470 to sign up today!

Week 1 – Cameras
Week 2 – Audio and Location shooting
Week 3 – Editing
Week 4 – Mobile Van
Week 5 – Studio
Week 6 – Studio Practice
Week 7 – HD Cameras
Week 8 – Final Cut Pro Editing

There will be eight 2 1/2 hour classes

Can You Answer The Phone Please?

We are looking for special volunteers who can help us answer the auction telephones. We need people who like to talk on the phone and are good with details. We need people to join us on either Saturday Dec. 3rd or Sunday Dec. 4th and we ask that you stay for a block of three hours. We know you’ll have fun working in a lively live studio and you’ll meet lots of new people. Call us at the office (978-249-4470) if you’d like to help.

Auction Work Party – November 30

Congratulations Eric Boughton

Congratulations to Eric Boughton, our Production Coordination at Athol Orange Community Television. Eric found out Friday that he took First Place – Community Impact category in the Annual Video Festival held each year by the Alliance for Community Media Northeast Region competition. Eric’s work beautifully demonstrated how our community will benefit from a new library. And guess what? It worked! Now the town of Athol will get a new library. Here’s a link to Eric’s production.
