The 2017 Auction is coming up fast.
Here are suggestions of how you can donate:
Donate Merchandise
- You can donate one or more new item(s) to be auctioned live on the air. Just give us the item(s) with an appropriate retail value and a description to be read on-air.
Donate a Gift Certificate
- If you prefer, you can donate a gift certificate to your own business or to another local business or restaurant.
Donate Overbid Prizes
- You may donate ten or more identical items for an overbid prize. The items should each have a value of $5.00 or more.
Donate Food/Beverage for the Volunteers
- Every business that provides food or beverage is mentioned many times throughout the two days of live auction.
Special Incentives for Your Business
If Your Total Donation Is:
- $250 or more (retail value for each item) and received by Friday, November 10, 2016, your item(s) will be on one of the two “Specials” Boards (one on Saturday, one on Sunday). A “Specials” Board is presented several times during the day and sold with live bidding that night. A short video of your item will be shown on the Specials Board video aired many times throughout that day and will also be included in the Auction Preview Show airing frequently during November.
- $50 or more (total retail value for one or more items) and received by Friday, October 30, 2016, your business name will be mentioned three times during the bidding and the item(s) will be included in the Auction Preview Show.
- Less than $50 (total retail value for one or more items), our auctioneers will mention your business by name a minimum of three times during the bidding.
Corporate Sponsorship
To be an AOTV corporate sponsor, your donation must be a monetary contribution. AOTV is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, which may allow your contribution to be tax-deductible. To receive all the benefits of sponsorship, you check must be received by Friday, October 30th, 2016. All sponsors will be mentioned in the Auction Preview Show if a commitment is received by 10/30/16.

Board Sponsors
Auction Board Sponsor with Logo – one day $100, two days $175
For $100 you can have your business name and logo appear on the sponsored board. Each board is used for approximately one hour and seen at least three times during the broadcast. Also, the auctioneer will announce your company just before the board appears on camera. Additional Board Sponsor with logo for the 2nd day is $75 more.
Auction Board Sponsor (no logo) – one day $75, two days $125
For $75 your name or your business name will be seen and the auctioneer will announce it on air prior to each viewing of the sponsored board. Each board is used for approximately one hour and seen at least three times during the broadcast. Additional Board Sponsor for the 2nd day is $50 more.
Food Donations
If you feed them they will come.
Or maybe it is more along the lines of,
Volunteers work extra hard just before the food shows up.
Either way taking care of the approximately 150 volunteers each day for the two day Auction is an undertaking. We would appreciate any items you can donate to keep our volunteers at full strength. Some items that we need are appetizers, sandwiches, casseroles, pasta, hot meat dishes, pizza, Chinese food, salads, fruit/vegetable/cheese platters, meat platters, desserts, chips, soda, bottled water, juices, and anything else you can think of. If you donate it, the volunteers will eat it. Alternatively, you can donate a $25 gift certificate to a local supermarket, such as Hannaford or Market Basket, which we can use toward Auction Food. Your organization will get some publicity and you can support quality local television at the same time. We will announce the food donors many times throughout the two days. We’re very proud of our volunteers and our programs, and we hope you will support them.
